More emphasis on reliability and product quality will be needed for a current and future generation of devices and systems due to intrinsic semiconductor reliability decline and soft error increase during system operation. Software and hardware soft error resilience / tolerance analysis and mitigation can be achieved through test, simulation and analysis to ensure reliable operation of the system.
